Sofia Quental

Sofia Quental collaborates with VCA since January 2015 and she is currently Senior Associate of the Tax Department.

Between 1999 and 2009, she was tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she acquired specific abilities in the tax disputes and procedures, tax planning, contingency and opportunities diagnostics areas, IVA e IEC´s matters for clients both national and international. In 2001 and 2002 she was tax consultant at PwC in Dublin, where she developed products for tax counsel and international groups, and in 2002 and 2003 she was tax consultant at PwC in Madrid, where she developed tax planning and counsel in matters of IVA and IRC for international groups. In 2010 she founded the “Associação de Defesa das Crianças e Jovens em Risco – ADCJR”, in which she is President. She worked in “Silva e Sousa & Associados” between 2012 and 2014 in the area of Tax and Family and Minors Law.

Degree in Law at the “Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa” (1999) and postgraduate in Tax Law at the “Instituto Superior de Gestão en Lisboa” (2000).
